How to Attract Your Dream Coaching Clients

If you’re struggling with manifesting coaching clients, you’re in the right place! Starting your dreams and attracting coaching clients you genuinely love takes a lot of mindset shifts.

We are brought up believing that making money has to be a struggle — that you either have to work really hard or do something you don’t enjoy to make money.

This is why so many people start a business based on the “shoulds.” They should do what they think should attract coaching clients or what should work based on what someone else did. But that never works!

What DOES work is deciding who you really are, how you want to show up as a coach, and what kinds of coaching clients you want to work with. 

When I started YES SUPPLY, I decided that I would create the life I wanted.

I realized that anything that didn’t feel like flow, fun, and ease was a big lie — and I made the decision that I was going to LOVE the work I do. 

It was going to feel FUN, and the coaching clients I worked with would be people I loved to be around. 

Well, guess what?

That became my reality.

Now, I’m working with my coaching clients to feel like working with friends I truly care about and want to see succeed. 

It’s SO fun and refreshing to watch them go from where they are to creating the lives, businesses, and incomes of their dreams!

…And all of this can be true for you too as soon as you decide!

So here are my best tips for attracting your dream coaching clients:

1) Get Really Clear On Who You Are

If you want to attract your dream coaching clients, you have to start by getting really clear on who you are, how you want to show up, and who you want to serve…

…Not the “shoulds,” like I mentioned before. 

It’s not about what you think you should be doing or what should “work.” 

When you start that way, it’s going to put you on a hamster wheel of unhappiness.

Your business is not going to work because you followed the “shoulds.” 

Your business will work because of the love you put into it and the amazing energy you cultivate for the work you do.

People can feel that energy.

When you’re excited, having fun, and achieving mastery, you’ll stand out from the competition and become the best at what you do.

So ask yourself these questions:

Who do you want to be? 

What area do you want to achieve mastery in?

What do you want to be the BEST in the world?

What would you love to talk about every day and immerse yourself in?

For me, it was a manifestation, Universal Laws, energy, and the subconscious mind

I was OBSESSED.

Still to this day, I’m constantly reading about these topics, even in my free time. Every conversation I have always veered in that direction. And I feel so lit up when I’m exploring and talking about mindset and manifestation.

So I knew that was the direction I wanted to take my coaching business because I wanted to create a life where I could do ALL the things I’m obsessed with.

Ask yourself what that is for you — whether it’s a mindset, beauty, health, relationships, whatever lights you up most — and design your business around it.

2) Get Really Clear On Who You Want To Serve

Once you’ve identified what area you want to build your business around, it’s time to think about the dream coaching clients you want to attract. 

For example, if you know that you want to build your coaching business around relationships, who do you want to serve? 

Do you want to help single people attract their soulmate?

Or help married couples build stronger relationships? 

Maybe you want to help parents and children communicate better?

Friends? Coworkers?

As you can see, even if you choose “relationships” as your area of focus, there are lots of different people you can serve.

Design your dreamiest coaching clients in your mind, and think about what they most need to transform. This will start the manifestation process, as people will be drawn to you to solve their biggest problem!

3) Go All-In on Achieving Mastery

When you’ve chosen what you want to focus on and what kind of coaching clients you want to serve, you can ALWAYS go deeper and achieve more mastery — which will make you the good-to-coach in your space. 

Whatever you choose, go all-in. 

Become the master of your craft, and you will naturally attract coaching clients who want the amazing transformation you offer!

I love this quote from Steve Martin:

“Be so good they can’t ignore you.”

When I was building my coaching business, I was Steadilyworking at my craft, getting better every day, embodying the coach I wanted to be, and investing in my growth.

One of the things I found was that when I invested in myself by taking courses, certification programs, learning about the subconscious mind, manifestation, and energy, I would naturally stand out to my dream coaching clients because I was achieving mastery.

The Law of Compensation states that you will be paid in direct proportion to the need for what you do, your ability to do it, and the inability to replace you. 

When you invest in yourself by reading books, taking courses, and earning certifications in the area you love, not only will you know what you’re talking about and have the confidence to back it up, but you’ll also “become so good they can’t ignore you” and be irreplaceable in your space!

4) Create a Signature Program

Once you know who you want to serve and how you want to show up, it’s time to start thinking about how you can deliver your coaching clients a massive transformation. 

This is where creating your coaching program comes in!

When I see people struggling to attract coaching clients or spinning their wheels in their business without making money, it’s often because they don’t have a signature program or service that they feel proud of.

So take time to think about the transformation you want to deliver to your coaching clients because that’s what people sign up for.

Think about where your dream clients are when they find you and where they want to be — your program will help take them on the journey to where they want to be!

What would your coaching clients need to learn, do, and embody to transform their health, wealth, or relationships?

What steps would you have to guide them through to get there?

As a coach, your job is to take your coaching clients by the hand and walk from where they are now to where they want to be and provide the support and mindset tools they need along the way.

When you know the ins and outs of the transformation you provide, you’ll feel confident in your signature program, making it easy for you to manifest your dream coaching clients!

5) TALK ABOUT IT!

Now that you’ve designed your signature program don’t be afraid to share it!

And if you’re scared of selling, keep in mind that you’re always selling every single day.

Think about a time that you read a book that you ABSOLUTELY loved! Did you talk about it all the time? I thought so!

When you tell a friend about a book that changed your life, and they go out and buy it — congratulations! You just sold something! You loved what it did for you, and so you wanted more people to feel like that!

Now, rather than selling for everyone else, let’s get started selling for YOU!

Shift your mindset around selling, and start to think of selling as a service. Think of your signature program as a HUGE gift that you want to share with your coaching clients.

You’re not “taking money from people.” (Unless you’re sneaking into their house and robbing them — but that’s a different story!)

You’re helping and empowering them!

When your coaching clients invest in themselves, they’re permitting themselves to transform and anchoring the belief, “I am worth it.

 What could be a better gift than that?!

6) Practice What You Preach

As a coach, it’s SO important that you know how you want to get your coaching clients to and embody that fully.

If you’re a health coach, show up sharing recipes, workouts, and tips, and tell the story of how you’ve changed your life by transforming your health.

If you’re a mindset coach, you might want to show the behind-the-scenes of your morning ritual and how it’s changed your life. 

Walk the talk!

Whatever area you’re in, you want to embody your signature program’s finished product and become an example of what’s possible.

7) Share Your Success Stories!

Once your coaching clients are getting results, show them off! 

Please don’t be shy about sharing testimonials because that’s how you show your future coaching clients that they can get those same results and help them instill that belief in themselves.
