In November 2021, the ICF sent out a message stating that post January 2022 CCE programs will no longer be approved for someone joining the ICF, but will only be able to be used to renew a ICF certification with Continuing Coach Credits.
There are many different paths to follow to become an ICF Approved coach, and ICF but the most simplest way to do so after going through the YES SUPPLY Method is to apply for the ACC Portfolio Path, which you can find here.
ICF has a high level of standard, and their demands are rigorous. That is how they ensure that the coaches who join their board are of the quality they are looking for. Remember, you do not need to be an ICF approved coach to take on coaching clients, or even to make a great income coaching. You only need to take this path if it feels good to you, or perhaps you find a lot of your clients (such as corporate clients) will ask that you have met these requirements in order to coach with them.
There are also additional fees required to join. YES SUPPLY is not an affiliate to the ICF and does not receive any additional money if you choose to join them.
Here are the requirements as taken from the ICF website March 18, 2020:
