On the verge of international girl’s day, I’m going to be in NYC talking about who run the world- girls.
So many of us have this amazing idea in our heads of the life we want to create, the business we want to run, but don’t know where to start, or have the belief it’s attainable. On the other hand, many women know they’re meant for so much more than their mundane 9-5, but don’t know how to come up with an idea.
If you want to create a better life, know that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it. Believe me, I used to think that people who were successful had it all handed to them.
I would think, “They must have had rich parents” or “They must be super educated in all things businessy”
That was until I launched my first business as a stylist, and was making 700+ a day doing what I loved.
I had created a website out of the few things that I had taught myself online, pulled together a website and somehow through a miracle, someone found me and wanted to hire me.
Here’s a few tips to help you create your own yes:
Know exactly what you want
Focused energy expands, so if you have a crystal clear idea of what you want to create, it will ten times easier for you to implement it. Once you set your eyes on a specific goal, so crystal clear that you can see it in your mind’s eye, all of the forces will work for you to make it happen.
You be able to intelligibly explain to people what you want. This will give others the opportunity to help you, send referrals your way, and help you get the word out about what you’re doing. It takes a village
Most importantly, ask for it. Once you know what you want, put yourself out there and ask for the opportunities you want.
Accept And Embrace Imperfection
The moment I realized that there is really no such thing as ‘perfect’, everything began to flow organically and I was able to create freely. We’ve grown up being brainwashed by the media that there is this unattainable idea of ‘perfect’ and that we should align to that or risk being shunned.
But the real depths of our soul- what they really crave is a connection, not perfection.
When we let go of trying to be a robot, and be our true selves with our scars, our tears, our setbacks and we feel confident to wear our heart on our sleeves. It’s something that will help you build a tribe and connect with the right people who want to hear what you have to say, and stand behind what you
Look inside for the answers
We’re so quick to assume that the answer to everything that we want is just on the other side of that new job, that promotion, that new article, or extra education. It’s so easy to look at what everyone else is doing, and assume that it’s the right path for us.
But usually, when we see someone else progressing through life doing something they love and their good at, it’s because they’ve found what works for them. The happiness and joy that we see people on social media can often be construed. The results for one person, may not necessarily be the same results you get.
I found my life purpose and created my own yes by looking inside. I mapped out all of the things I liked to do, was good at doing, and came naturally to me using the purpose guide, and created a business out of everything I absolutely
I’m going to be showing you how you can do all of this, at the Master Your Yes Event in NYC. I’m going to be teaming up with Six Degrees Society to create an amazing evening for empowered women to share, meet and learn how we can all create a life we’re obsessed with.
If you can see it in your mind, and imagine it, you can make it real.
