It’s [Not] Hip to Be A Square, says Instagram

In yes supply land, were always looking for ways to help you increase your productivity, and save time. I can’t even count the amount of hours spent editing photos that were taken in landscape and portrait and loading them into apps like squaready or afterlight to create a border, just to get them to fit into my instagram story.

Having to endure this tedious process no more, Instagram just realeased an new update allowing you to upload a picture of any size, and choose whether it is landscape or portrait.

How to use Instagram’s New Wide or Tall (Portrait or Landscape) Feature:

1. Upload your photo as you regularly would. You’ll see that it still uploads in a square format.

2. Use the button with the two arrows in the bottom left and it will instantly resize the picture to it’s original format.

3. Voila! You can actually see your whole picture, the way it was taken, on instagram.

This design is wicked! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job.
I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!
