Pinterest Marketing Tips for Coaches

Want your blog, website, or business to be seen by a lot of people in a short amount of time? If so, Pinterest is such a great hack! Pinterest is one of my favorite ways to reach more of my dream clients, so today I’m sharing with you my top Pinterest Marketing Tips for Coaches so that you can use it to grow your business, too!

I used to think Pinterest was just for weddings or gardening projects, but once I understood the business side, I realized it’s actually one of the best platforms to get yourself out there.

Every month, we generate about 2 million impressions on our Pinterest page alone.

Now, I think of it as our little secret weapon!

The reason why Pinterest is such a great way to get yourself out there as a coach is because typically on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, people are just passively scrolling. They’re skimming through the content but not deeply engaging with it.

What’s so amazing about Pinterest is that it’s more like a search engine. Just like with Google, when people go on Pinterest, they’re being intentional when they type in what they’re looking for. This means that your content is seen by people actively searching for a solution to a problem — and they’re more willing to invest money to solve that problem!

Also, statistics show that people who spend the most time on Pinterest tend to come from higher-income households, which means they have more money to invest in high-ticket coaching programs!

We use Pinterest to help grow our email list by posting free workbooks and video training. We also use Pinterest to get more reach on our Instagram posts, YouTube videos, and blog posts, and you can do the same!

So I’d love to share with you some of my favorite Pinterest Marketing Tips for Coaches so that you can make the most out of your content and attract your dream clients!

1) Position Yourself The Right Way

One of the best Pinterest Marketing Tips for Coaches I could share with you starts before you even make your first pin! Start by thinking about who you are as a coach and as a business owner, and who you want to help.

When you imagine your dream client, ask yourself:

What questions are they asking?

What are they searching for?

What goals are they dreaming about?

Once you’ve answered those questions, you can start to identify keywords that the people you want to help might be searching for.

Use those keywords strategically in your Pinterest posts to make it easy for your dream clients to find you!

2) Learn From Your Analytics

After I’d been pinning for a while, I would look at the Pinterest analytics to see which pins performed best.

I’d pay attention to which colors and fonts were working, and what kinds of topics people seemed to be sharing the most. Then, I could design other pins to look similar and make more content on the topics that people were resonating with.

So one of the most powerful Pinterest tips I can share with you is to pay attention to which style of pins people are responding to the most, what topics work best for you and resonate with your dream clients the most, and keep creating content in those styles and topics!

3) Get On Group Boards

If you’re just getting started on Pinterest and don’t have a huge following yet, you’re going to love the next one of my Pinterest tips — get on group boards!

Group boards are groups or communities that pin on a specific topic, and they often have thousands or tens of thousands of people who’ve joined them already.

This is the beautiful thing — even if you don’t have a following yet, you can join a group board and instantly get in front of thousands and thousands of people!

You can use the site PinGroupie.com to search for a topic that relates to your coaching business — whether that’s the mindset, business, manifestation, or whatever your niche is.

Search for the boards with the most followers that resonate with you and your niche, and then send a message to the board owner asking to be added.

Once they’ve added you, you’ll be able to pin your own pins to the board and instantly get in front of more people!

4) Automate Your Pins with Tailwind

If you were pinning constantly, you’d spend all day on Pinterest… and that wouldn’t leave you with much time to work on the other parts of your coaching business, would it?

So one of the Pinterest tips you may not know about is an incredible tool called Tailwind.

Tailwind allows you to schedule your Pinterest post for upcoming days, which means that by putting in just a little bit of time, you can make sure your content is constantly going out and getting in front of more people.

P.S. If you click here to sign up with my Tailwind link, you’ll get a free month of Tailwind PLUS an invite to my tribe!

Which brings me to another one of my favorite Pinterest tips…

5) Join Tailwind Tribes

So in addition to making it easy to schedule your posts, another amazing feature in Tailwind is called Tribes.

A Tailwind Tribe is a community who share each other’s pins on common topics.

Not only is this an amazing way to get your content in front of more people, but it’s also a great way to track what’s going on in your niche. Since Tailwind tracks repin and shares from your Tribe, you can use it to help analyze how your pins are performing!

Whenever I pin, I always add my pins to my Tribe, which makes it easy for other people to repin and get more reach for my content. I’ve also joined other relevant tribes to share my content and share other people’s content.

My Tailwind Tribe is called Coaching Business Tips, and you’re invited to join us! Again, if you do join through my link, you’ll also get a free month of Tailwind. ? (affiliate link)

This is one of the Pinterest tips that not a lot of people know about but makes a HUGE difference in getting your content in front of more people. Give it a try!
