Week 3: The Clean Program Cleanse Plan

Week 3: The Clean Program Cleanse Plan

We’re done! We did it! Nothing feels as good as crossing that finish line. We finished the 21 day clean program cleanse from cleanprogram.com and we have nothing but rave reviews to give. I think that last week, in my week 2 review, was when we saw the peak of the clean program cleanse pay off, and this passing week was when we finally got into the groove of making our meals, sleeping 100% right, and getting those habits we were creating to stick!

So how did we do?

I’m going to keep this short and sweet as I gave you an indepth look at the cleanse and how we were reacting to it in Week 1 and Week 2 of the cleanse but…..drumroll please…..

Skinny Minnies

My boyfriend lost a whole 15 POUNDS! His old shirts and suits were beginning to look like they were going to fall off! Although the shopping for new outfits will be expensive, we think the savings in potential healthcare bills down the road is well worth it.

I lost about 5 lbs, but that could be due to the fact that I’m a lot closer to my body’s natural weight. Even still I see a lot more definition in my stomach area and I’ve lost quite a bit of bloating that I didn’t even realize I had. My shorts and skirts fit an inch looser around my hips!

I have TONS more energy and I don’t have the 3 PM crashes that I used to have. Plus, I am able to think much clearer during the day.

Less Sugar + Caffeine Cravings

As you know, sugar is more addictive that cocaine. My old sugar cravings are a lot less intense. This helps me stop myself from needlessly snacking throughout the day! Especially when my work stocks heaps of Oreos, Chocolates and assorted candies.

Today, as my first day off of the cleanse, I celebrated by having my first coffee. To be completely honest, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I used to. I felt jittery for an hour, and then I crashed. It took me so long to finally get myself off of my caffeine dependency that from now on, I think I’m going to stick to decaf.

Much Calm, So Happiness

The lack of emotional rollercoaster of emotions and moods with the caffeine and sugar dips has actually found us in a better mood more consistently. You’d be surprised, but not feeling ridiculously exhausted at all hours of the day puts you in a surprisingly good mood. 🙂

Thanks for following my journey of the cleanse!
